The LAHDC – Kargil Sub-Ordinate Service Recruitment Board, Kargil has been constituted in exercise of the power conferred by Section 41 of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Act. 1995 and 1997 for recruitment and promotion to the District Cadre Posts (Non-Gazetted / Class IV).
District cadre means the cadre of a department in the District comprising all the posts whether Executive, Ministerial, Technical or manipulative, the basic pay of which does not exceed Rs. 6000/- per month.
The vacancies are referred by the Appointing Authority / Intending Departments to the Secretary Subordinate Services Selection Board, LAHDC, Kargil, Ladakh for advertisement and making selection of the candidates for appointment to the posts with a copy to the Chairman, KSSRB, LAHDC, Kargil.
The Deputy Commissioner / CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Ladakh functions as "Chairman" and Deputy Director Employment and Counselling Centre, LAHDC, Kargil, Ladakh as "Secretary", Head of the concerned department as a "Member" and an Officer to be nominated by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, LAHDC, Kargil, Ladakh also as a
"Member".
